SAN FRANCISCO, April 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) this May are holding a series of nine open houses across the Bay Area and invite residents to share their ideas on the Draft Plan Bay Area 2040, the long-range regional transportation and land use strategy slated for adoption in July 2017.  The first two open houses will be held next Thursday evening, May 4, in Fremont and in Redwood City.

Each open house will feature multiple stations at which participants will be able to view displays; ask questions; and offer comments on the Draft Plan’s goals, proposed growth patterns, transportation investment strategy, and key actions identified to address ongoing and long-term regional challenges.
